Paperback + Updates
Hello all!
It’s been a wild summer over here. Just today I wrapped up a summer semester teaching Intro to Fiction. What’s normally a fifteen week semester crammed into five weeks is quite a roller coaster ride!
As far as the family goes, we’ve been traveling a lot too, up and down the east coast plus a ten-day stay in Minnesota, my home state. Now we’re back home and getting settled in for the start of the school year.
The newsletter will look a little different for the next few months as I put a pause on membership subscriptions (sorry to all twenty-six of you subscribers and thank you for your support)! From time to time, I’ll still send out free newsletters full of interesting topics, book updates, writing concepts and more. However, I have a manuscript due 10/31, so I’m going to take a break from writing pretty much anything except that project, unless I get the itch or a topic highly relevant to my current WIP needs to find an audience. When the mood strikes, I’ll send out a single version to everyone!
If you haven’t heard yet, I’m here to tell you that the paperback edition of my novel Manmade Constellations was released this week.
So, if you haven’t picked up a copy yet, find it where books are sold. I’m doing a run of events including three upcoming North Carolina dates. If you’re in the area, come say hi!
I hope you will all stay on the lookout for future creative topics, writing prompts and more via the Creative Seminary newsletter, especially when it picks back up later next fall. In the meantime, you might consider perusing old emails and working through some of the prompts that you haven’t found the time for yet. Get those creative vibes vibing and take the time to put pen to page.
Meanwhile, find me on Instagram.
See you soon!
Take care,
Misha
